Our Odd Job Service
The Odd Job Service provided by Kapiti Coast Grey Power is designed to help fellow Grey Power members get small tasks done.
The Odd Job Service is not free. A fee is negotiated for the requested task between the parties involved and should be competitive. When a member phones in, they will be asked to verify their membership of Kapiti Coast Grey Power and then asked to outline the assistance they need. It’s important that the client clearly explains to the potential contractor the task they need done, so that the contractor understands clearly what they are being engaged to do. An enquirer will be given the contact details of more than one contractor for the job to be done. Kapiti Coast Grey Power offers no warranty as to the proficiency of any of the people recommended and relies on member feedback to maintain appropriate service standards. The Odd Job Service operates across the entire Kapiti Coast Grey Power area. Some providers are licensed tradespeople and some are experienced handy-people. |
